Absolutely disgusting. I will cancel my account. The machine does mathematical errors in simple problems (e.g., 125/25=6). I got this answer using Opus 5 Extra. In addition, their customer service is poor.No one answers your questions. I did not get any of my refunds.

I use Claude for demanding document and research work. I am on the Max plan and I verify its output against primary sources as a matter of routine. The analysis is genuinely strong. Given a supplement advertisement citing three "clinically validated" figures, it traced the first citation to a regulatory consulting firm rather than a research institution, identified the second as an n=6 subgroup from a company-funded study, and found the third applied only to mild-grade patients — an exclusion the advertisement omitted. That work was worth paying for. The problem is everything factual that is not a document. In one session it sent me to a pharmacy for brands it does not stock, named two retail locations that do not exist, and stated there was no such retailer in my state — one is fifteen minutes from my house, and I found it on Google Maps in seconds. It linked a product whose delivery window fell after my departure date, immediately after advising me to use that product for a week beforehand. Nine errors in one session. I caught eight. This is not isolated. Earlier this year, on a document-heavy matter, it recorded a hypothetical I had posed as an established fact, complete with a date that appears in no document, and that fabrication propagated into two sections of a downstream analysis. The pattern is consistent. Scientific and documentary claims are verified rigorously. Claims about stores, availability, delivery dates and real-world events are asserted from memory, unchecked. Both are facts. Only one class gets verified. Excellent research assistant. Verify everything it tells you about the physical world.

Website buggy as every other AI chat website. It has helped me a lot as a free user but nothing too notable. I wouldn't say it's the best at coding, at least for the stuff I've worked on. I've noticed it goes for simple approaches which sometimes means worse solutions, it also hesitates a bit too much sometimes but that's still better than being too confident in everything. It gets the job done I wouldn't call it too special but I haven't used the best models for it so I don't know for sure, the best models are too expensive to use so.

On a pro account, Claude will use up your entire usage failing to do one simple task. Spent 90% of today's usage asking it to move one element in a game I was making a few pixels to the left. Then when you pull it up on it, it will happily debate with you to waste even more.
